Available Horses located in Indiana
The horses listed below are located throughout North Carolina. Horses can be adopted out of state, but visits to the horse are required in the adoption process. Horses are also available in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky,and Iowa.
USERL requires that all adopted horses be checked on a yearly basis. If the adopter does not live within a reasonable driving distance of a USERL volunteer capable of doing the check, it is the responsibility of the adopter to arrange for the check to be done by a licensed veterinarian that will fill out a report to be mailed to USERL.

Ground Training only:
These horses are either too young to train to saddle yet (USERL policy is minimum 3 yrs. of age before a horse can be ridden) or have received basic training for ground manners (halter, leading, standing, farrier work, etc.) and need additional training for riding and are on a trainer's waiting list to receive it. However, if you can provide a good home and professional training, there are likely horses here that would match your needs and have great potential!
