Arianna was welcomed by USERL in July with a body score of 1. Since then, she has been busy gaining weight, gaining more weight and getting healthy. Arianna is boss mare and lets everyone and her rehab mate know it. At the same time if given a directive, she complies without any problems. Her favorite time of the day is meal time; she loves her grain and beet pulp. Arianna is 26 years old but she doesn’t know it; she is very active and enjoys being groomed. Arianna has been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease for which we are exploring a variety of treatments.  A special diet of soaked feed will be necessary at her future home since she is unable to chew hay and grass due to years of neglect of her teeth.
