My professional name is Mo’ Glitter. My USERL name is MoJo. My fosters call me ‘Mo’. In my mind, I am the fastest racehorse ever born! The only problem is I have bad arthritis in three of my legs. One is so bad, with a bog spavin swelling, that I hardly use it! Unfortunately, hock injections have not provided any long term relief. I need joint supplements every day, and some mornings when I have trouble standing, I need some bute and hugs. I also like being fed ‘breakfast in bed’ on those difficult mornings. But when I am able to stand again, nothing slows me down.

I am the most social horse you will ever meet! I LOVE people (except maybe the vet) and LOVE other animals! I could never be by myself, even for a short length of time. I would be a perfect companion for young horses, and I adore the ladies! Although I cannot be ridden, I am very smart, and if you like to teach tricks or practice ground training, I am your horse. However, I am a big fella, and if I intimidate you, I will do whatever I wish.  Forcing me to do anything will make me rebel. But if you use patience, consistency, and give me time to figure things out, we will have a great relationship. I love to learn and am very curious. I come when called, give hugs when asked, lower my head for the halter (because I am so tall, that is a bonus!), lead like a pro, bathe, and stand for the farrier who is considerate of my needs. I will trailer best with a buddy, but it is not one of my strengths.  I cannot be lunged or ‘run’ in circles for any length of time due to my legs. Yet, if you play with me, I will stay at your side or walk with you all day long. I really am a great catch if you just want a horse to love on. Actually, I am not sure why you haven’t filled out that adoption application yet! I can’t wait to meet you!
